At the University of Richmond I am a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honors society and sat on Westhampton College Government Association. I have known I wanted to study math since I was young and have always enjoyed it. I started tutoring while at a private boarding school in Rhode Island, formally helping fellow students with geometry and algebra courses, and informally helping friends with pre-Calc and Calculus. At the University of Richmond I have continued to help friends where I can and worked at a Student Tutor and formally tutored in Calculus I, Calculus II, and Statistics. I really enjoy math and find helping others to understand the concepts the way I do an incredibly rewarding experience.
